I painted this as a tribute to my dad and farmer/ranchers everywhere. My dad was an innovative farmer, and his grit and determination inspires me to be an innovative painter. I wrote a newsletter stoy about him right before Father's Day and it was picked up by several newspapers. This painting is inspired by my favorite photo of Dad.
I have been an artist since I was a little girl growing up in central North Dakota. My artistic pursuits of drawing, painting, writing, and singing have brought me great joy throughout my life.
