I have made several trips to Jekyll Island in Georgia and just love the mystery of Driftwood Beach. This painting is a rich impasto with a monochromatic, silvery blue aura. It makes you feel as if you've just gone for a morning walk as the fog is rolling in.

I have been an artist since I was a little girl growing up in central North Dakota. My artistic pursuits of drawing, painting, writing, and singing have brought me great joy throughout my life. Hours fly by when you can lose yourself in doing something you love!
