The equipment ran late into the night. The dusty smell of harvest still hangs in the air as dawn breaks. But today is a new day and much work is yet to be done. Those are some of the thoughts that ran through my head as I painted this scene. I love painting straw bales: their golden color and beautiful shapes, creating a circle of life.
