The starry night look to the sky, the flowing costumes, the emotion on their faces, and the beautiful ballet pose seems to appeal to people in many different ways.
I did not originally plan to have them dancing on water, but when I got to that point, it just came together. I love the reflection and the almost surreal feeling of a couple in love being able to float above all earthly boundaries.
I have been an artist since I was a little girl growing up in central North Dakota. My artistic pursuits of drawing, painting, writing, and singing have brought me great joy throughout my life.
