This gorgeous owl almost disappears into the trees as he seems to be staring disapprovingly at whoever is disturbing his time alone. This painting was done with metallic paint in the background with palette knife building layers in the trees. It would be the perfect complement to the neutral grays and darks that are so popular in today's decorating trends.
